How to implement a generic aftertouch

[edit | edit source]

1. insert a Channel AT or Poly AT module into your instrument

2. insert a IC Send module, connect it to the AT module you just created

3. switch the IC Send module to "Always Active"

4. switch the IC Send module to "Visible"

Notes

The IC Send module gives you a list where to route the aftertouch to. From this list, you can select an arbitrary controller to receive the aftertouch signals. Note, however, that AT signals normally range from 0 to 1 and thus may have to be adjusted to appropriately control a specific parameter of your instrument that has a different range.
