Rutgers University/New Jersey

New Jersey is a densely populated, highly diverse state. Expect many arguments about North Jersey vs. South Jersey vs. Central Jersey (if it exists at all). One thing everyone agrees on is their scorn of TCNJ, and to a lesser extent, Princeton.

Students are generally very socially liberal, even by NJ standards. Youtube videos of the campus's reaction to Obama's election should be evidence enough.
