Case study Kaikorai Stream Livetime

Group: for Simon McMillan, Kaikorai College Kaikorai College straddles an urban stream. Dr Simon McMillan has a long running project to reconnect the community with the environment - using the stream as a catalyst. This project aimed to provide links between the educational curriculum and the stream. Functional requirements included: Live time graphing of parameters measured in the stream Interactive educational games and activities aimed at students Various maps of the stream and surrounding area Current and archive news of the stream and its condition The real time graphs can be configured by students to help answer questions that arise from questions in science, social studies etc.
