Telescope Making/The Telescope Mount

The telescope mount supports the entire assembled telescope. The mount allows you to aim the telescope, and then holds it steady while you look through it.

note this topic is applicable to all types of scopes not just the newtonian, hence I am leaving it at the "==" heading level

I presume we are not getting into star-tracking clockwork?
