This subtemplate displays shelf page content for template {{Department:Page}}.

Usage

The parameters to be provided to this subtemplate are described in the documentation for {{Department:Page}}, except for one introduced by {{Department:Page}} when calling here.

• department — the name of the department whose page content is to be displayed, without its Department: prefix.

This subtemplate ignores unnamed parameter 1, which may be incidentally passed through from {{Department:Page}}.

Internals

This subtemplate customizes parameter values — such as providing default values for parameters not specified — and delegates the actual display generation to {{Department:Page/display2}}. For this subtemplate to function correctly it should be called from {{Department:Page}} using one of the Module:TScope#Call functions, so that parameters not provided to {{Department:Page}} are not provided to this subtemplate, rather than merely being blank.
