Alakazam38
[edit | edit source]Is a university student studying Ancient History & Archaeology. He has studied Catullus' Carmina in detail, along with many other Latin texts. Other examples include Virgil's Aeneid, Horace's Odes and passages from Livy. Outside of school he has read Propertius and Herodotus as well as Sophocles' Antigone and Medea. He decided to start this WikiBook after encouragement from several members of Wikipedia. This Wikibook was set up with the help of Uncle G.
Storeye
[edit | edit source]Is also a secondary student. She studies the NSW Latin and Ancient History preliminary courses. She has studied a few of the works of Catullus and Caesar, and has read Pliny, Cicero, and Valerius Maximus amongst others, in classes outside of school. Her interests also spread to ancient Greece and Britain though she hasn't studied them in great depth. She is also at the English Wikipedia under the same username.
Ronnye
[edit | edit source]Is a high school senior in Fort Wayne IN USA who has been studying Latin since the 7th grade. She took the AP Vergil course last year and is currently enrolled in AP Latin Literature (Catullus and Cicero). Besides her interests in the Classics, Ronnye has done independent research in biology and plans to be pre-med in college next fall ('08).
Christopher
[edit | edit source]Is also a high school senior in Fort Wayne. This is his first year in AP and we are expecting greatness! He has been our wiki-guru as we try to convert our knowledge of the poems of Catullus into the correct format. As well as his work on things wiki, Christopher has worked for human rights as a long-time member of Amnesty International. Yay!
