While researching for the wikipedia article Australia at the Winter Olympics, a variety of sources were used.

Some of the sources disagreed with each other. Differences included placings, precise spellings of names, and the total number of competitors (ie the size of the field). Sometimes people who were disqualified have not been mentioned in various sources.

No definite conclusions have been made yet as to which source is right or wrong when they disagree.

Errata have been associated with books rather than web documents for technical reasons, not because web documents are assumed to be more reliable.
