Wikibooks Philosophy Reminders

Wikibooks is a project for everyone with good faith, patience, a willingness to learn, and a desire to share.
Almost anyone can edit and revise any edit.
Anyone who does good work is irreplaceable.
A good outline is better than no textbook.
With appropriate care, every book can someday be a featured book.
Relevance is what the reader is searching for to expand their own knowledge.
Technology is the means, not the end.
Learning from others is the key to success.
Improvements are preferable to deletions. A productive deletion discussion where people learn to improve material is preferable to a deletion where the same mistakes are repeated.
Wikibooks is neither a playground nor a discussion forum.
Quality doesn't happen by adding a warning box. Quality comes from experience and constant improvement.
Common sense is something everybody needs but few have.
Textbooks teach subjects objectively without a moral campus. Feeling very strongly about something makes writing in a neutral manner difficult.
The quality of proposals matter, not the quantity of arguments.
Rules are to help, not to obstruct.
There are indeed more important things in life than contributing to Wikibooks.
