Background

[edit | edit source]

My core identity flows from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Everything I am and steward are ultimately His. I pray continually to be transformed by the Holy Spirit through the renewing of my mind, by His grace alone and not by any assumed merit of my own. God has blessed me with interests that lie in the world of technology, the trades, and some machinery.

I graduated from Trine University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. I have worked in the automotive industry in Southeast Michigan for all of my professional life on products ranging from ignition coils & spark plugs, instrument clusters & heads up displays, to various ECUs deployed on vehicles and some low-speed electrical vehicles within the autonomous/tele-operation space. I currently work at a small company under Ford's Research & Advanced Engineering/Development group.

Interests

[edit | edit source]

My core interests lie in electrical engineering, specifically the design and manufacture of embedded systems. I have some programming experience, but I typically do not dive into that world very much. I also have found an interest and "hobby" in working around my house on the electrical systems, plumbing, and automotive repair. I enjoy science fiction & fantasy novels and TV shows/movies.

Goals for Wikibooks

[edit | edit source]

My primary goal for contributing to Wikibooks is two-fold. I wanted an outlet to which I can share what I learn as I move through my professional career. Sharing what I learn helps to both solidify the lessons in my own mind as well as provide a resource for others to use/correct me for the benefit of everyone.
