Early computers were large and could take up a lot of space, usually a at least a whole room or even more than one room!
Soon, computers became smaller. They were still the size of large furniture. Normal people couldn't afford them.


Eventually computers became small enough that they could be used at home.
Soon, home computers began to include displays and keyboards, which made them easier to use.
Home computers got even better, and the ability to access the internet became common.


Computers began to get thinner, easier to use, and even more portable.
