Description:
Boneset is a tall plant with a cluster of tiny white flowers that rise above the leaves. The leaves are thick and wrinkly. They wrap all the way around the stem of the plant and make it look like the stem has poked through the leaf. It is also called "agueweed", "feverwort" or "sweating-plant". Native Americans introduced Boneset to the American colonists as a way to treat fevers. Quick Facts: |
