Description: Butter and Eggs is a beautiful yellow and orange flower. The orange part looks like the yolk of an egg, and the yellow part is about the same color as butter. These flowers have an odd shape. The orange lip is closed, so the flower can only be pollinated by strong insects such as honey bees or bumble bees. Butter and Eggs grows between one and three feet high, and has long narrow leaves. Quick Facts: While most commonly found as a weed, Butter and Eggs is sometimes grown for flower shops. The flowers last a long time in a vase.
