The Winter's Tale is a comedy by William Shakespeare, written around 1610. The play retells a story by Robert Greene entitled "Pandosto", which was written 10 years before. The plot revolves around the irrational jealousy of the King of Sicily, his unjust treatment of his virtuous wife, and his repentance and their reconciliation.
