keyword is used in field, method, property, and variable declarations and in cast and typeof
operations as an alias for the .NET Framework structure System.Object
. That is, it represents the base class from which all other reference types derive. On some platforms, the size of the reference is 32 bits, while on other platforms it is 64 bits.
