- Pepper
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Onion
- Seasoning cube
- Suya spice
- Green bell pepper
- Red bell pepper
- Vegetable oil

[edit | edit source]- Clean and gut the fish well, scaling it and removing the gills.
- Blend together the pepper, garlic, ginger, onion, seasoning cube, suya spice, bell peppers, and vegetable oil to make a marinade.
- Submerge the fish in the marinade, making sure it is well-coated inside and out. Let marinate for 1–2 hours.
- Heat a grill grate, and grease with oil. Add the fish and cook, flipping and applying marinade, until well-cooked (up to about 30–45 minutes).
- Serve hot with extra onion and green bell pepper.
