Ingredients

[edit | edit source]- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 tsp golden syrup or corn syrup
- 2 tsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp Thai red curry paste
- 1 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
Fried rice
[edit | edit source]- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup frozen fresh edamame (soy beans)
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- ½ cup salted roasted peanuts
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Whisk sauce ingredients together in small bowl.
- In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Fry eggs, then chop them up and remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp oil. Fry the frozen edamame beans for 2–3 minutes until cooked.
- Add the rice and sauce and toss. Then, add in the shredded carrot, peanuts, and the eggs and fry for 2–3 more minutes.
