Tuwo alabo is a Nigerian swallow made from cassava flour, which is gotten by sun-drying and milling fermented peeled cassava. It is a substitute for tuwo masara and is the Hausa version of lafun.

Procedure

  1. Sift the cassava flour to remove debris.
  2. Boil the water in a pot, and gradually stir in the flour until it forms a smooth mixture.
  3. Stir thoroughly until smooth, and cook for a minute or two.
  4. Serve.
