Minerals are special resources found underground in stone. The types are listed below.

Gold | 6/10 | Below Y=32 | 4/10 | Useful in brewing, in making golden apples, and certain redstone items. |
Copper | 1/10 | Below Y=64 | 3/10 | A good building resource due to its common-ness. |
Lapis Lazuli | 4/10 | Below Y=31 | 7/10 | Used in enchanting with enchantment tables. |
Redstone | 3/10 | Below Y=16 | 9/10 | Used to make devices, like automated item farmers. |
Diamond | 8/10 | Below Y=15, most common on y = -59 | 9/10 | The non-deepslate version is vary rare, consider not mining it with anything other than silk touch. |
Emerald | 10/10 | Below Y=0, all elevations in mountain biomes | 9/10 | Can be traded with villagers. Much rarer in ore form, so if you find emerald ore, consider not mining it with anything other then silk touch. Much easier to trade with villagers or use a raid farm to get many of them. |
