Welcome!

Purpose

[edit | edit source]

The purpose of this Wikibook is to serve as a reference to pharmacists who practice in palliative care in any capacity -- whether that's inpatient or outpatient; strictly pain management, hospice, or oncology symptom management. I am hoping you will find some useful information herein. All contributions are welcome including syntax, style, and content. This Wikibook was first created on May 29th, 2024 and so it is in its infancy.

Anticipated Content

[edit | edit source]

As this is an open-source book, it is impossible to determine the ultimate trajectory of this book. However, the creation of this book was spawned from a massive (400+ page Word document) which held many notes related to palliative care pharmacotherapy. These notes were organized first into drug and drug class-specific information, then into disease state-specific information, then logistics, finally miscellaneous.
