Luna is an ongoing project to create Wikibooks-specific native alternatives to Twinkle's new page patrol modules. This is separate from the project to fix Twinkle as-is, since Luna will be a separate gadget.

How to install it

[edit source]

If you would like to use Luna, add the following line to this page:

importScript('User:JJPMaster/luna.js'); // Backlink: [[User:JJPMaster/luna.js]]

Then, open the "Luna" menu, and you'll see all of its features there.

If you want monthly updates on the progress of this project, consider adding yourself to Wikibooks:WikiProject Little Star/Newsletter.

Please note that only autoconfirmed users are allowed to use most features of the tool. If you are not autoconfirmed and attempt to use it, you will be greeted with an error message and the script will not be enabled. Any attempts to game the system may result in a block.

  1. a b c Autoconfirmed users who are not reviewers cannot mark pages as reviewed while tagging them.
  2. a b Non-administrators can mark pages for deletion, but not delete them directly.
  3. Non-reviewers cannot use MediaWiki rollback with this tool.
  4. a b This is not a Twinkle module, but it is included with Luna nevertheless because it is a Wikibooks-specific tool
  5. The "Unlink" Twinkle module was split into two modules for Luna. "File Unlink" is for removing all uses of a file, while "Unlink" removes all backlinks to a page.
