PlanoTse, the software application program, interacts with the user through a set of windows. These windows are designed based on the same GUI standard as explained on this page. Most windows in PlanoTse has three main panels:

  • The first panel on the left showing hierarchical information is called the tree view. Each item thereon is called a leave or a node.
  • The second panel in the middle is called the node editor as it is often used to make changes to the information of a leave/node on the tree view.
  • The third panel on the right is called the whiteboard. It is an embedded web browser that is used to present read-only information.

The following windows use the above GUI standard:
